Summer Storage

 
Summer Storage was one of the three winning programs selected by the student body (in addition to Trash to Treasure and Hydration Stations) that resulted from the YCC 10K Initiative. Expanded from the 5K Initiative during the 2010-2011 school year, the 10K Initiative was created to bring about issues-based change on salient campus issues.
 
Summer Storage provides those students who want to store items in New Haven with a much cheaper alternative than contracting pricey storage companies or renting expensive storage units. YCC will transport your items from central campus—everything from couches to desk lamps to boxes filled with anything that isn’t perishable—to West Campus for safe storage during the summer. YCC then arranges for transport of these items back to central campus, and students can pick up their possessions on August 27th and 28th of 2011 also in Lot 51.
