In Spring 2013, YCC and Yale Transportation Options launched a pilot bike sharing program with Zagster. The program has 50 bicycles at 10 locations called “pods” around campus. The bicycles can be reserved online after students register online and pay a $20 annual membership fee. The fee can be waived after attending a Bike Safety class. Students can reserve bicycles at any of the locations, and must return them to the same location by midnight on the day of the reservation or pay a $30 late fee.
